Featured Off-Grid Energy Systems

Complete solar, battery and generator-integrated power systems designed around the property they serve. Start with one of three practical Sol-Ark and UZ Energy configurations, then Palm Tree Energy sizes the solar, battery storage and supporting electrical infrastructure around the actual loads and operating requirements.

Three Systems • One Design Philosophy

Start with the right power platform. Then design around the property.

Off-grid power is not one-size-fits-all. The inverter is only one part of the system. Battery capacity, solar production, generator support, continuous loads, motor starting loads, wells, pumps, seasonal solar conditions and future expansion all affect the final design.

These three configurations provide practical starting points: a Sol-Ark 12K with one UZ Energy battery, a Sol-Ark 15K with two batteries and a Sol-Ark 18K with three batteries.

What Determines the Right System?

Whole-property electrical loads
Desired battery runtime
Existing and future solar production
Generator size and operating strategy
Wells, pumps, HVAC and larger loads
Future expansion requirements
Modular Battery Storage

Build battery capacity around how the property actually uses energy.

The UZ Energy 16 kWh battery provides a practical modular building block for these off-grid systems. Battery capacity can be increased according to overnight energy consumption, desired reserve capacity, generator strategy and seasonal solar production.

The featured systems demonstrate the progression from approximately 16 kWh to 32 kWh and 48 kWh of starting battery storage.

Why Palm Tree Energy Uses This Battery
16 kWh

One Battery Platform. Multiple System Sizes.

Battery storage grows with the energy requirements of the property.

1
System 01 Approximately 16 kWh battery storage
2
System 02 Approximately 32 kWh battery storage
3
System 03 Approximately 48 kWh battery storage
How the System Works

Solar first. Batteries when needed. Generator when necessary.

A properly designed off-grid system coordinates solar, battery storage and generator power automatically so the property has dependable electricity without constant manual generator operation.

01

Solar Produces Power

Solar supplies the property loads while excess solar energy charges the battery bank.

02

Batteries Support the Property

When solar production falls below demand, stored battery energy continues supplying the electrical loads.

03

Generator Starts

If battery storage reaches the programmed minimum level, the generator can automatically start.

04

Batteries Recharge

The generator supports the property and recharges the batteries, then shuts down when the programmed charge level is reached.

Custom Designed

These are starting configurations—not fixed packages.

Two properties using the same inverter may require very different battery and solar capacities. One home may need additional overnight battery runtime. Another property may have a well pump, workshop, larger HVAC system or other substantial electrical loads.

Palm Tree Energy determines the final configuration from the property, electrical loads, existing equipment, solar conditions, generator requirements and owner objectives.

A Complete Off-Grid System Can Include:

Sol-Ark hybrid inverter
UZ Energy lithium battery storage
New or existing solar array integration
Automatic generator start and charging
Electrical panels, feeders and distribution
Wells, pumps and rural infrastructure
Existing-system modernization
Future solar and battery expansion
